On The Path to Fitness
I actually had never exercised regularly in my adult life until after having my son. Pregnancy and delivery were extremely hard on me mentally and physically, and I knew I needed to make a change. I could never have imagined that what began as small efforts to live a healthier would positively affect my mental, emotional, and physical health so much. It also lead me to find my true passion in fitness and women empowerment.
Personal Journey into Fitness

Work-Life Balance Philosophy
Work-life balance is crucial but it doesn’t need to be complicated. We all have to take the time to eat every single day whether we like it or not, so it’s simply about making healthier choices that will in turn make you feel better. As far as workouts go, finding a balance can be challenging. For me as a mom and a Sweat trainer, at times it has meant getting up super early, staying up super late, utilizing naptime (aka sacrificing shower time), or just taking a long walk pushing the stroller when there was no nap at all. Overall it comes down to making your life outside of work a priority because it is vital you are taking care of yourself as well as those around you.

How To Be the Best Version of You:
1) Be consistent. Maintaining a healthy fitness and eating lifestyle is all about consistency. Remember that change takes time, so take it day by day. Celebrate the little victories and don't be discouraged if you go off track. Simply pick yourself up and get back at it.

2) Focus on how you feel. Recognise what you can and cannot control. We can always control our actions and our attitudes, and we always have the opportunity to choose positivity over negativity.

3) Make self-love your number one goal. Do not compare yourself to others or be too critical about the way you look. Love yourself while working on yourself and love your journey. Exercise and eat healthy because your body is amazing and it deserves to be taken care of. If your efforts to be healthy are rooted from a place of positivity you will go so much farther.
