What's New In Fitness And Wellness This Summer?
From new studios to the launch of innovative online platforms, this is what to look out for in Summer 2021.
A Body Forever

An online wellness platform, A Body Forever launched in June and is the brainchild of Amy Brogan, who built it with the intention of creating an online space that allows users to build strong foundations to help them continue to grow and get stronger, instead of offering quick fixes. With a wide range of Pilates and gym-based PT workouts tailored to different needs, plus educational tips and bespoke DJ mixes, A Body Forever proves that home workouts can last long beyond lockdown.

Give Me Strength by Alice Liveing

Having grown legions of fans over lockdown with her daily Instagram workouts, Alice Liveing launched her Give Me Strength app at the start of June. Designed to train strength for body and mind, the app contains hundreds of workouts, training plans, recipes and educational articles from wellness experts covering everything from sleep to the impact of the menstrual cycle on your training.

UN1T Southwark

After the successful launch of their Holborn studio earlier this year, in late Summer 2021 UN1T’s Borough High Street studio will be moving to a new location on Southwark Bridge Road, a two-minute walk from Elephant & Castle station. Head to their Instagram for a sneak peak of what’s coming, but expect more natural lighting, new kit, and bigger, swisher changing facilities!

1Rebel Oxford Circus

Boutique studio chain 1Rebel have just opened up eighth studio, this time located just off Oxford Street, near to Oxford Circus tube station. Dedicated to their Rumble (boxing-based) and Reshape (running-HIIT) classes, it’s got a more rough and ready vibe than their super shiny Victoria flagship, but the same top quality classes and all the ultra-indulgent changing room perks you’ve come to expect.

The studio that made boutique boxing cool - and promises to be where “fightclub meets nightclub" - Kobox currently has studios in Chelsea, Baker Street and The City, and will be opening a brand spanking new studio near Waterloo this summer, perfect for the pre-or post-commute workout!
