FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN WILL BALANCE FESTIVAL TAKE PLACE?

 

It will now take place on 17 - 19 June 2022.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN A STANDARD TICKET?

A standard ticket gives you half-day admission to the festival, with access to our Main Stage workouts, Yoga Studio sessions, Meditation Dome workshops, talks in The LAB and demos in the Live Cooking Theatre, as well as over 150+ food, fitness, wellness and travel brands exhibiting at the event. You will also be given a Balance tote bag on arrival.
 
You are able to book studio classes on the Balance fitness programme which runs across the whole festival.
 
IS THERE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND?

Friday (from 9:00am-5:30pm) has a dedicated Press and Industry Preview morning, offering industry-focused talks, workshops and experiences. 
 
Our consumer sessions will take place on Friday afternoon 1:15pm until 5pm and both Saturday and Sunday, with the early session running from 09:00am until 1pm, and the afternoon session running from 1:15pm-5:30pm.

CAN I BOOK TICKETS AND WORKOUTS FOR MY FRIENDS?

Yes, you can buy tickets and book workouts for up to 6 people at a time.

CAN I SWAP BOUTIQUE STUIDIO WORKOUTS?

No, no swaps or refunds can be made to a boutique studio session booking after purchase.

CAN I BUY TICKETS ON THE DOOR?

Yes, you can providing the event is not sold out. Standard tickets will be £45 on the door and VIP tickets will be £75.

CAN I BOOK WORKOUTS  LATER IF I’VE ALREADY BOUGHT A TICKET?

Yes, just login to your account to add workouts to your schedule.

WHEN WILL THE REST OF THE LINE-UP BE RELEASED?

We will be making festival announcements throughout the year for our Main Stage, Meditation Dome, Yoga programme, LAB and Live Cooking Theatre.

CAN I COME TO BALANCE IF I’M UNDER 16 YEARS OLD?

Most definitely, although we ask that anyone under the age of 18 is accompanied by an adults and cannot parktake in any workouts.

CAN I BRING FOOD/DRINK?

Balance Festival will attract some of the best food and drink vendors across the wellness industry who will be giving out samples, plus there will be plenty of meals available to purchase on site. Therefore, you will not able to bring food and drink into the festival with you.

WILL THERE BE SHOWERS AND CHANGING ROOMS?

There will be no showers at the event, however there will be changing rooms.

WILL THERE BE A CLOAKROOM OR LOCKERS?

There will not be a cloakroom nor lockers, however there will be a dedicated shelving unit in each studio. Please make sure you look after any items that you bring into the venue, it's your responsibility; the organisers and venue management team cannot take responsibility for loss or theft.

IS THE SITE WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE?

The facility does have elevators to access all floors of the building. Should you require disabled access, please inform a member of our front of house team.

WHAT ABOUT SECURITY?

For your safety every festival zone will have a dedicated security guard. If you see any problems or incidents, please report them to security staff or the police.

WILL THERE BE PHOTOGRAPHY/FILMING?

Yes. All official photographers and film crew will have identification.

Photography, video, audio recording and children

The safeguarding of children is our first priority when using recorded content. We adhere closely to the NSPCC’s guidelines on the use of images and video online, taking special care to protect a child’s privacy and never identify children by name unless we have specific permission to do so.

Public photography and video filming

We're sure you will understand that we wish to protect the integrity of the festival and exhibitors. If you're going to take pictures or film with a video camera or a mobile phone camera you need to follow some common sense rules.

In essence, you are free to record your own visit to the festival for your own personal home use. You will not be able to sell any photos or moving images of the festival for commercial or other gain. Please respect the privacy of other festival attendees who may not want to be filmed. Please don't bring any professional equipment with you and please be aware of health and safety issues.

DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKET OR CAN I SHOW IT ON MY PHONE?

Both printed and digital versions will be accepted at the door, however we recommend downloading to your phone.

CAN I EXCHANGE/REFUND MY TICKET?

No - unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds.

DISABLED TICKET

One companion can accompany a disabled visitor free of charge, upon presenting one of the following forms of documentation:
 
  • DLA/DWP/PIP award letter
  • A Blue Badge
  • International Proof of Disability, with "ISA" (International Symbol of Access) or similar printed on it.
 
All guests must buy a ticket with the exception of 1 companion per guest holding the above documentation.
 
Please note: the companion must be aged at least 14yrs.
