Q&A
Describe Just Breathe in 3 words.
Community, connection, quiet.
How and why did you start your business?
Just Breathe started in 2017 as a community of people dedicated to supporting their mind and mental health, since it started it has grown into a place where people can prioritise their wellbeing with daily practices, tools for stress and a place to help educate people on the power of doing less.
"Just Breathe helps people understand the need to prioritise their wellbeing above anything else."
What has been the most rewarding part of your adventure to date?
The most rewarding part of seeing Just Breathe grow is the way these practices of mindfulness, breathwork and meditation have become more common place, to help people understand the need to prioritise their wellbeing above anything else. We’ve also seen hundreds and thousands of people come together over the years to meet and connect with other like minded people, and for us this is a beautiful thing. To be a part of a community that cares about turning the volume down and living life well.
What gets you out of bed every day?
I’m inspired everyday to be of service, to help and support those around me and within our community. If I can be useful in someway every day to sharing the value of these practices, then that day has been a good one.
As a business, what’s your superpower?
Our superpower has always been about advocating for community, creating spaces and places where people feel like they belong.
The Just Breathe Sanctuary is open every day at Balance Festival, 19th-21st May, offering mindfulness, meditation and breath work classes.
